Surprising My Bestie For Her Birthday!!

So I deserve a "BEST FRIEND AWARD"..... Why???? Well this Sunday was my best friends Chioma's birthday and I drove with her parents for 2 hours to UGA (University of Georgia). I was extremely tired, but I couldn't even sleep because I was nervous. 

So when we got their I stayed in the car, while her family meet her in the lobby area. Once they got settled her sister came back to get me from the car. I was so nervous I never surprised anyone like this before. Chioma had her back to the door as she was taking pictures with her mom and I snuck up behind her and gave her a big hug....

PROBLEM.... Her problem forgot to video tape the entire thing.... I am still mad at that 

She was so surprised and happy. *pat on the back* I did good, I made her cry and everything!!! 

The day was awesome.... It was simple but we had a wonderful time. We all went out to eat and laughed the restaurant down. If anyone has ever been to Athens, Ga you know its only white folks and Latinos. We were the only black and we were loud!!! 

She said that her birthday was the best because I came!! *blushing*

College has kidnapped me....

Once again school has kidnapped me and taken me hostage!!! I have one more week left of school and then I will be FREE!!!! Not for to long. After 3 weeks, I am back to school to take summer classes : / ... I hope all of you lovely people are doing well. Welcome and thank you to all my new followers :)

The definition of adorn means to make more beautiful or attractive. When you here this song you will feel that way. It's like he's singing to you! His voice is so sexy and smooth, its like your in a trance....

Natural Hair of the Day

Hello Beauties!!! I have been struggling with my hair for a while and I wanted to do something simple, easy to manage and cute.  I had some Shea Moisture Curling Souffle that I hardly use and I decided to try it out. I started my hair around 11:00 p.m.. Which is a no no! Never start any braid outs or twist out that late.


Here are the results....

What I used:

Shea Moister Moisture Souffle

Eco Styler gel : Olive Oil

My oil mixture

Shea butter 

Water!!! (Water is my hair's best friend)

I wanted a wavy look in the front, so I decided to wet my hair completely. I used gel on my edges. I used an elastic band to hold my hair in place. When I do a puff twist out I do the twist while my hair is in a puff. I sectioned my hair and added a little of the Curling Souffle on each twist.  I tied down my hair with a silk scarf and on top of that I used another scarf to hold the first scarf, so it won't slide around. 

Next day...

My twist was still damp BUT my hair looked great. My hair was shinny and wavy. It looked real cute!

 Now that its completely dried my hair has a lot of body and it very moisturized!

At night....

I will tie my hair with the scarf and that's it. 

In the morning..

 I will spray a LITTLE water, fluff and go on my way to school.

Shea Moister Curling Souffle Review

Honestly at first I didn't like this product. I didn't know what to do with it.

As you can see it looks really runny. It looks like gel or jelly but feels like hmmm I'm not sure what it feels like. Maybe slimy but not gooey. I don't have a problem with how it feels, I can care less. My purpose for buying this product was for my hair not my hands. 

Because its a wet substance it will take long to dry. So try going under a hair dryer or start doing your hair early in the evening or afternoon. 

The results are worth you buying this product. I bought mine from Walgreen's.

On The Road Again...

It seems to me that for the 1st time in my life I've been able to travel so much. The year just started and I've already traveled to two states... That's a blessing for me.

Back ground...

My father is very protective and a lil parinoid. He grew up in Brooklyn, NY so he's seen a lot. When I was little I didn't go out a lot I stayed at home and played with my neighborhood friends. Now that I am a little older I have been doing my own thing, which is driving him crazy. I'm his only daughter and the oldest so I get most of the heat. That's life and I just have to find ways to deal with it and I am...

Back to reality...

I just got back from Alabama. I went to Oakwood University Alumni weekend. It's an historically black Seventh-day Adventist institute and HBCU. If your new to my blog I am a Seventh- Adventist. (If you want to know more about my religion go to Adventist.org) 

On Saturday (Sabbath) I was able to go to their main event which was their church service. For the youth is was our Fashion "Day". Everyone looked great. Including me!!! I couldn't go there with my fine and single self looking terrible.

10. What is the most daring thing you have done? I went on a roller coaster at Six Flags. I don't remember the name of the ride and I don't want to remember. It was HORRIBLE : /. But I did it.
